Worship at Caney Spring United Methodist Church
For generations, people have gathered at Caney Spring UMC to worship God, support one another, and grow in faith together. Our worship blends the rich traditions of The United Methodist Church with a warm, small-church spirit. Through prayer, congregational singing, Scripture, and a message grounded in everyday life, we seek to encounter God's grace and be sent into the world to love and serve our neighbors.

What Should I Wear?
Come as you are. At Caney Spring UMC, you'll find everything from blue jeans and boots to dresses and jackets. We care more about your presence than your attire. Whether you're dressed for the farm, coming from work, or wearing your Sunday best, you'll be welcomed just as you are.
What is Worship Like?
Our worship is welcoming, meaningful, and centered on God's grace. Together we sing, pray, hear Scripture, and reflect on what it means to follow Jesus in today's world. We laugh, we learn, we wrestle with difficult questions, and we trust that God meets us wherever we are on the journey.
You won't find a performance or a production, but what you will find is a community of ordinary people gathering to worship God, support one another, and grow in faith together.
Is Holy Communion Open?
Yes. In the United Methodist tradition, Christ's table is open to all. You do not need to be a member of Caney Spring UMC, a United Methodist, or even certain of what you believe to receive Holy Communion.
We believe Holy Communion is a gift of God's grace, offered freely to all who seek Christ's love, mercy, and welcome. Whenever we celebrate Holy Communion, you are invited to come just as you are.
What About Difficult Questions?
We believe faith grows through curiosity, conversation, and reflection. You don't have to have all the answers to belong here. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning after time away, or seeking a deeper understanding of God's grace, there is room for your questions at Caney Spring UMC.
Children
Children are a blessing, and they are always welcome at Caney Spring UMC. As a small congregation, we worship together across generations, and we delight in the sounds, questions, and energy that children bring to our community.
We do not currently offer a separate children's church during worship, but children are encouraged to participate fully alongside their families. Sunday School opportunities are available, and we seek to nurture faith in ways that are meaningful for every age.
